grey eyes with dark hair. He was physically disqualified because
he had 1 joint of third finger gone otherwise apparently all
right.

1880 census as a white male at 3 years old. Birthplace is
IA. He is also listed on the 1885 Millville, Clayton, IA
census in the household of his father, Stephen, at 7 years
old. In 1905, Edward was living in his father's house at
1046 15th St. A 1910 Census of
Utica, Fergus, MT has Edward Oneyear working at the Utica School
District (#9), as a servant. Doesn't say what kind of servant.
He is listed as a single white male at the age of 32. He was
born in IA and parents in the US. He speaks English but has no
profession or trade. He is working there on own account. He can
read and write and hadn't been out or work the previous
year. Edward is in Jefferson, Dubuque, IA in 1915. He's
single, white and has spent 38 years in IA. He is working
as a farm hand and for 1914 he made a total of $300. Ed's
church affiliation is Methodist. The 1920 Census of
Warren Township, Poweshiek, IA lists Edward as head of house and
renting. He is a 42 year old, single white male. He
reads and writes, born in IA as his parents. Edward speaks
English and is a laborer as a section hand for the
railroad. His brother, Fred, on the same page is the
same. It states that Edward is salary. This census
also states that living in the same house is Fred McKnastry(?),
Ed's partner. He is a 24 year old single white male from
IA.
